The pencilings of a panel. It always goes pencil-borders-lettering. Then I can move on to inking.
I usually ink left to right and top to bottom. Why? Cause I'm a righty and otherwise that's an ink smear you don't want to know about. Incidentally, I use deleter white out if that DOES happen.
